SECURING YOUR SESSION
For all portrait sessions; a non-refundable session retainer of $50 is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. However, the fee can be credited towards a future session upon the photographers approval. All remaining balances are due at the time of the session.
For architecture and real estate photography; a non-refundable session retainer of $50 is required to book and hold the date for your session and serves as a cancellation fee. For wedding packages; a 30% retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of your event and also serves as a cancellation fee. The remaining balance is due two (2) weeks before the date of the wedding. you can break this up into multiple payments however you see fit.
For video shooting, production and drone services; a 50% retainer is due immediately to book and hold the date of desired service. The remaining balance is due the date of provided service or final draft approved.
Once a date and time for a session is established, clients will receive their personalized agreement, including invoice for the deposit.
Retainer is due upon receipt of contract and balance is due on day of scheduled session for photography and video shooting.
Contracts and full payments are to be finalized within 1 day of the scheduled session date. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the session date and loss of deposit.
If a session is booked within 5 days of the requested date, an invoice for the full amount will be issued.
PAYMENT: All sessions and packages (plus taxes if applicable) can be paid via cash, bank deposit or Visa or MasterCard(via pay pal).
About Your Shoot
Unless specified by client, we will select the location where the photoshoot/video will take place.
We utilize both indoor and outdoor locations as well as both natural and artificial light.
Location for event photography is established by the client. Flash may or may not be used for event photography.
TIMELINESS & ATTENDANCE
Client should arrive to photoshoot, dressed (including hair and makeup) and ready to shoot.
Timeliness is imperative for the smooth execution of each session. Additional time will not be added to a session, in the event
For real estate shoots, unless we stage and set the house or venue, it is expected that the house or venue will be staged and set in the exact way that it is to be shot upon our arrival, if we spend time staging, setting, cleaning or otherwise adjusting the house or venue beyond 15-20 minutes of time there will be an additional charge of $50 added per 30 minutes extra time incurred for staging, setting or cleaning. If late or tardy to the specified location a grace period of up to 15 minutes will be given for each booked session. After 15 minutes, clients will incur a charge of $15. After 30 minutes, session will be cancelled and client will forfeit payment for the session.
Expected Session Times
Headshots & simple shoots – 30 min
Signature Sessions – 60-90 min
Product Photography – minimum 2 hours
Events – minimum of 2 hours
Food Photography - minimum 2-3 hrs
Drone real estate - 45 min
Video Real Estate - 3-4 hrs
Photo Real Estate 1-3 hrs
Attendance is limited to only those individuals being photographed. Having additional people present can be distracting to both photographer and client.
CANCELLATION POLICY: For portrait sessions, client forfeits their session retainer paid to book the session. As previously stated, the fee can be credited towards a future session if the client reschedules the appointment by calling 48 hours prior to the date of session and re-booking at an agreeable date and time.
For weddings and events, if for any reason the Client cancels before the wedding date, the Photographer will keep the the event retainer fee paid to hold the wedding or event date as a cancellation fee. Cancellation must be made in sent in writing, by mail or e-mail. However, if the client requires to change the wedding date, we will do our best to accommodate the change and no fee will be charged as long as the new date is available and within six months of the original event date. If we are not available for the new date, the original contract will be cancelled and subject to the cancellation policy.
If Adventure Nosara and/or selected media specialist cannot perform this Contract due to fire or other casualty, strike, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the parties, or due to Photographer’s illness or emergency, then the Photographer shall return the retainer fee to the Client but shall have no further liability with respect to the Contract. This limitation on liability shall also apply in the event that photographic materials are damaged in processing, lost through camera or other media malfunction, lost in the mail, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault on the part of the Photographer.
After Your Photoshoot
PRINTS & PRODUCTS
Clients will receive a digital upload (google cloud) of edited images within 1 week of the session date. Upload hosting will automatically expire after 30 days.
Adventure Nosara retains copyright of all images provided - print or digital. Images provided to client may not be reproduced in any way, unless indicated by a print release.
The Client may publish or disclose the Work and shall acknowledge the Consultant in all such publications. When Client signs contract, the Client gives the Consultant permission to use his or her photographic likeness for online and print advertising for Adventure Nosara. All rights not expressly granted are reserved to Consultant
Adventure Nosara reserves the right to amend any information at any time, including, but not limited to, rates, policies and product offerings, without prior notice.
